    Gado-gado (Java – Jakarta)

    This vegetarian dish is commonly found in any restaurant in Indonesia. True to her name, this dish is a mixture of various type of vegetables such as long bean, bean sprout, carrot etc, fried tofu and tempe (soybean cake) and boiled egg. Gado-Gado served in a sultry peanut sauce with rice cake (lontong), fried onion and colorful krupuk (unique cracker with bright color such as pink, green, made form cassava flour).
